Global Trade Base Services
Global Trade Base is a full service Export Management Firm. We handle all facets of the international trade transaction easing the burden for domestic producers to do what they do best and that is to make the product. We become an 'offsite' exporting department for those companies we partner with. Global Trade Base also distributes product for our client companies to buyers within the North America region.
Product Selection
We are extremely selective in the quality of products we represent. We have the choice of which company's products will provide the highest profit potential to our company. Each potential client should take it as a compliment if we offer to represent their products to our buyers. We diligently evaluate each product, label and marketing materials prior to even offering to represent a client. We have a track record of success and a reputation of only bringing the best products to fit the needs of our buyers internationally.
Trade Mission Marketing
We meet with our international buyers at their place of business. We establish the relationship necessary to create long term business. We bring an average of ten to twenty products only at a time to present during our trade missions.
Full Service
Global Trade Base will present the products, internationally and domestically, negotiate the sale, arrange the order placement, wait the lead time for production, send a truck to pick up the product, transport by truck or rail to the port, arrange sea shipping, handle export documentation and offset all potential loss or liability to us and our partner client. We ensure that they are paid as quickly as possible through either irrevocable international letters of credit (L/C) or prepayment by wire transfer from the client depending on the destination region. The producer only has liability for the product if there are any defects as measured by USDA standards. Each transaction is fully insured at every interval.
