- Early in American history, back before we were our own country, something amazing happened. The citizens of the future United States of America bonded together united in a cause. That cause was the war for independence. Common men, women and children; business owners; clergy; educated and the illiterate; all stood together for a set of ideals that made this country great. They fought with everything at their disposal. They used pitchforks against rifles. United they stood and overcame.- As the new GTB president, I am continuing on in the same belief that American companies need to follow in the footsteps of those brave people so long ago. I say we again declare war. This war needs to be one against a common foe, neither foreign nor domestic. This foe is the state of the economy.
- I say we declare war against the negative economy. Let us stop the political bickering pointing the finger of blame at candidates who face insurmountable issues. Let us each be part of the solution. Let us each support our Country in this time of need.
- I issue a challenge to each business owner who has a product to sell. I both challenge you and rally you to stand united with Global Trade Base in promoting your products overseas. Let's sell your items in foreign markets. Let's bring foreign dollars here and infuse them into our economy making it stronger for the benefit of your company, employees and their families. We are now, each of us, footsoldiers in the economic war. Together we can improve our economy one transaction at a time.
- You will now also see some new GTB information available. I am reinforcing the efforts we put into educating small and medium size companies in going international. You will see samples of forms, public press releases on shipments that can be used as references as well as more face time at trade events to put a face with our company name. I pledge my support and dedication in moving product overseas for our domestic clients. GTB is now stepping above the radar so that everyone can see the positive influence our international transactions have here in America. We will do our part. I expect you do do your part.
